SDA Bocconi Asia Center, Mumbai
SDA Bocconi Asia Center is proud to announce the constitution of its Alumni Industry Advisory Board – a strategic forum of distinguished alumni leaders supporting the institution’s continued growth, industry relevance, and engagement across its academic, executive education, and alumni initiatives.
Established in 2012 as the Pan-Asian hub of SDA Bocconi School of Management, Milan, SDA Bocconi Asia Center has built a strong portfolio of master’s, executive, and custom executive programs. The Board reflects a simple belief: alumni are among the institution’s most valuable long-term partners. It is a working, advisory partnership focused on shared purpose and active contribution, without governance, fiduciary, or executive decision-making authority.
Members share forward-looking insights on industry evolution and the broader business landscape - shifts in leadership expectations, emerging capabilities, and organisational transformation - helping ensure management education stays relevant in a rapidly changing global economy.
The Board strengthens academia–industry dialogue through curated roundtables, leadership forums, and cross-industry conversations, enhancing the institution's thought leadership and visibility within the broader business ecosystem.
Members engage with student cohorts, sharing real-world perspectives on leadership journeys, career pathways, and industry realities - supporting initiatives that strengthen student readiness and long-term career outcomes.
The Board fosters a strong, connected alumni community, encouraging collaboration across industries and organisations while reinforcing a culture of contribution, connection, and shared institutional identity.

December ’26 | Industry Roundtable & Institutional Dialogues | A closed-door conversation on a theme chosen by the Board, pairing faculty’s academic rigour with members’ industry foresight. |
January ’27 | Second Board Meeting | The Board reconvenes to review progress and provide further strategic perspective on the institution’s priorities and direction. |
Throughout the Year | Alumni Community & Institutional Advocacy | Board members serve as a bridge between the institution and industry, bringing live business context into the academic environment. |
Term: Two years, with an indicative annual commitment of two Board meetings (June and January), at least one academia-industry/alumni/student-facing engagement, and ongoing institutional advocacy as appropriate.
