Summer Internships – Class of 2027: Transforming Classroom Learning into Corporate Impact

As an integral part of the International Master in Business (IMB) curriculum at SDA Bocconi Asia Center, the Summer Internship Program (SIP) provides students with an opportunity to apply classroom concepts to real-world business challenges across industries and functions. The IMB Class of 2027 has secured internships with leading organizations, reflecting the program’s strong corporate connect and industry relevance.

Students have taken on impactful roles such as Project Intern at Novo Nordisk, Knowledge Management Intern at Marsh McLennan, Marketing Intern at Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., Strategy Intern at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and HR Intern at HDFC ERGO General Insurance. These internships offer valuable exposure to dynamic business environments and help students build practical problem-solving and leadership skills.

The SIP opportunities span sectors such as BFSI, consulting, FMCG, IT, healthcare, and manufacturing, highlighting the diversity of career pathways available to students. Function-wise, 44% of internships were in Marketing & Sales, followed by 24% in Consulting & Strategy, with additional opportunities in Finance, HR, Analytics, and Operations. Beyond professional experience, SIPs play a critical role in enhancing industry readiness, strengthening functional expertise, and helping students gain greater clarity in shaping their long-term careers
