In a ceremony marked by pride, reflection, and celebration, SDA Bocconi Asia Center conferred diplomas upon 378 students of the International Master in Business, Class of 2026. The occasion brought together students, families, faculty, and industry leaders to celebrate the achievements of a cohort shaped by academic rigor, global exposure, and a deeply collaborative learning experience.
The 13th convocation of the IMB program brought together a diverse cohort representing 25 Indian states and union territories, with students from backgrounds spanning engineering, commerce, management, science, and the arts. Throughout the program, students engaged with leading organizations across consulting, finance, marketing, technology, and strategy, while also completing a four-month immersion at SDA Bocconi’s Milan campus.
The ceremony featured addresses by Prof. Maurizio Poli, Academic Director of the International Master in Business, Prof. Seema Khanvilkar, Program Director – IMB, Mr. Alessandro Giuliani, Managing Director of SDA Bocconi Asia Center, and Chief Guest Mr. Patrik Antoni, CEO, IKEA India. Students were also addressed by Ms. Ruchi Garud, Chief Operating Officer, SDA Bocconi Asia Center, alongside senior faculty and leadership of the institution.
Representing the graduating batch, Vedant Jadhav and Kavya Julka reflected on the defining moments of their IMB journey — from demanding academic schedules and group projects to committee experiences and the Milan immersion. Speaking about the resilience developed over the past two years, they shared, “Show up. Even when you are not ready. Especially when you are not ready.”
The ceremony also recognized outstanding academic achievement through the Dean’s List, which honors students who have demonstrated exceptional and consistent academic excellence throughout the IMB program, in alignment with the academic standards of SDA Bocconi School of Management. The Dean’s List awardees were Aniruddha Venkatakrishnan, Shraddha Ghanshyam Yeola, Renjith Suresh Babu Binuja, Manasi Mohan Kadam, Akanksha Deepak Kumar, and Devansh Gupta.
As the IMB Class of 2026 steps into the next phase of their professional journeys, they carry forward the Bocconi spirit of curiosity, collaboration, resilience, and global ambition.
